Open to people of all abilities and most ages, the World Masters Games is the world's largest multi-sport event, attracting twice as many competitors than the Olympic Games.

Held every four years the World Masters Games has grown to become one the biggest international sporting events. The Sydney 2009 World Masters Games will be the largest to date, with a record 12,000 international competitors expected to compete.
